IMPress is a small press based in Manchester established in 2000 to publish original fiction. IMPress will aim to publish one or two titles per year and work will be selected from established authors who cannot easily find a niche in the competitive context of commercial publishing. IMPress does not expect to be profit making and will use income from book sales towards publishing the next book.

IMPress is an artistic endeavour, rather than a commercial package, which is why books will be published in limited editions. IMPress is also concerned that the writer should have some control over how the book looks and be able to work with the artist in achieving something original which also looks good.
